VEGGIE ENTOMATADAS WITH NIXTAMALIZED TORTILLAS MI FAMILIA

 

INGREDIENTS

Serves 6

  • Ingredientes:

    • 1 Pack of Tortillas Nixtamalizadas Mi Familia

    • 4 tomatoes

    • 1 white onion, diced

    • 2 chiles serranos (remove the seeds to make them less spicy)

    • 1 bunch of coriander

    • 2 garlic cloves

    • Dry oregano

    • 1 lb. requesón

CÓMO PREPARARLO

Boil the tomatoes, the garlic, 1 chile, and ½ onion. When they’re ready, blend the ingredients with a teaspoon of dry oregano, then fry the sauce with vegetable oil over medium heat.

Chop the chile serrano and sautée with the rest of the onion, add the requesón and salt.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and lightly fry the Tortillas Nixtamalizadas Mi Familia, one by one (18 if you are serving 6 people). If you want to make a lighter version, you can only heat the tortillas over a comal or pan, instead of frying them.

CÓMO SERVIR.

Place 3 fried tortillas (or heated) and fill them with the requesón, cover with sauce, and top with more requeson, onion slices, and coriander leaves.
